Sometimes a yard just needs a reset. Not a full overhaul - just someone to come in, clean things up, and put a fresh layer of mulch down so everything looks intentional again. That's exactly what we did here.

We worked through the beds around the entire property - front, sides, and back. Once the beds were cleaned out and the shrubs were trimmed back into shape, we laid fresh mulch throughout. The difference that step alone makes is hard to overstate. It pulls the whole yard together and creates a clean line between the beds and the lawn that you just can't fake.

The mulched beds wrap around the yard in a way that ties everything in - the stepping stone paths, the mature shrubs, the Japanese maple out front. Each of those elements was already there, but the fresh mulch is what makes them read as a cohesive landscape instead of just a yard with some plants in it. That's the part most people underestimate.

Fresh mulch also does real work beyond looks. It holds moisture in the soil, keeps weeds from taking hold, and protects root systems - especially on established shrubs and trees that you're counting on long-term. It's one of those maintenance tasks that pays you back in more ways than one.

If your beds are looking tired or your hedges have gotten a little ragged, this kind of maintenance service is a straightforward way to get things back on track without a big investment.
